2nd day

We survived Cali's 2nd night home.  We did not give in to her whimpers. Although she cried on and off all night we kept her in the bathroom, with soft music playing and a night light on.  Mark got up a few times to sooth her and rub her belly and back to sleep she went.  We are hoping she will get use to this routine within a week.  The cats seem to be warming up to her also.  They did sleep on the bed last night.
We got up this morning at 6:30 and took her out for a walk.  The grass was wet and cold and she scampered over it quickly.  She also avoid walking in the puddles!  So funny to watch a lab avoid water.
She is sleeping at my feet now, as she loves to be as close to you as she can be.

It is great that you are doing everything for her to be able to feel the most comfortable. It may take some time for her to get used, but you should be patient. Pets are like family to us, they need to be taken care of and be loved because they also need affection from their owners. We should be responsible enough if we are owning one because they deserve the best treatment. Playing along with them makes us happier, we get to release more positive energy and just enjoy the time being with them.

It looks like a part of their training from which they are sure to learn about new things for sure. You are doing a fine job and it is going to be more interesting when you are having idea about what you doing.
